On the heels of the announcement by Finland last week regarding Broadband access for everyone, the Italian Government has outlined plans to have Broadband Internet Access to everyone in the country.
The Plan is to start investing into an infrastructure and allows for speeds of at least 2Mbps by 2010. The overall cost for such a bold endeavor could potentially reach 800 Million Euro when the project is completed. So far there has been no mention of a completion date which leads this author to speculate that the project ends when everyone has broadband access.
